From September 23 to 29, partners, industry customer leaders and mainstream media from Brazil visited Foton Motor and launched a grand FOTON Week for Chief Experience Officers with the theme of “Embrace New Future” that emphasized both cultural experience and value perception. During the interactive exchanges, on-site visits and product experiences, the CXOs not only deeply appreciated the charm of Foton products, but also felt Foton Motor’s innovative concepts and brand value, laying a solid foundation of trust for future cooperation between the two parties.

 

 

 

 

 

In this cross-border exchange feast, the CXOs not only visited Foton Motor’s core manufacturing base in depth, visited Shandong Super Truck Factory, Shandong Multi-Purpose Factory, Cummins Engine Factory, X Laboratory, Daimler Factory and other places, observed Foton Motor’s R&D process up close, and learned about Foton’s breakthroughs in cutting-edge technologies such as new energy, intelligent networking, and autonomous driving, but also test-drove Foton’s entire series of models to experience the powerful product power of Foton’s full-scenario commercial vehicle solutions. At the Shandong Super Truck Factory and Multi-Purpose Factory, Foton Motor demonstrated its advanced production technology, strict quality control process and innovative R&D capabilities to the CXOs, allowing overseas customers to deeply feel Foton Motor’s outstanding strength and innovation capabilities as a leading Chinese commercial vehicle company.

 

 

 

 

Brazil, as the largest country in South America, has a vast highway network and prosperous urban agglomerations, which breeds huge market demand for urban and inter-city freight transportation. Since entering the Brazilian market, Foton Motor has focused on the truck market segment for urban logistics business, and has gradually developed in-depth cooperation with local industry customers with its high-quality product quality and service network, and has become an important participant in the freight transportation industry in the local market.

 

 

 

 

 

In June this year, at the Foton Brazil 2024 Dealer Conference, Foton Motor officially unveiled its “New Quality Product Power” strategy and launched four new product models: medium truck, light truck, mini truck, and pickup. This not only enriched Foton’s commercial vehicle product line in Brazil, but also met the Brazilian market’s urgent demand for efficient and environmentally friendly logistics solutions with a new design concept and leading technical configuration.

In terms of product strategy, Foton Motor plans to introduce its full range of heavy truck、medium truck, light truck, mini truck, pickup and new energy products into the Brazilian market. At the same time, it will accelerate the expansion of its dealer network in Brazil, aiming to expand the number of dealers to 50 by the end of 2024, and plans to build a large network covering more than 100 dealers in the next five years to deepen market penetration.

In view of the booming business in the Brazilian market and the continuous increase in product demand, Foton Motor is considering planning to directly locate the production process in Brazil, invest in territorial production lines based on the local mature parts supply chain system, and provide better products and services for the local and surrounding markets.
