FOTON and DP World Sign Strategic Partnership Agreement to Explore New Horizons in Brazil and Global Logistics

Beiqi Foton Motor Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as “FOTON”), a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in China, and DP World, global port and logistics giant, have signed a strategic partnership agreement at the FOTON LATAM PARTNERS CONFERENCE 2025 in São Paulo, Brazil. The agreement aims to deepen collaboration in logistics, warehousing, and new energy sectors, while exploring partnership opportunities in both the Brazilian and global markets.

This signing marks a new phase in the partnership between the two companies. Li Shaoan, VP of Foton International and Beat Simon, Global COO of DP World Logistics, attended the ceremony and signed the agreement. Building on their previous collaboration, both parties will further integrate resources to enhance global supply chain efficiency and drive the transformation toward green logistics.

Strengthening the Partnership, Building a Global Logistics Network

Since their partnership began, FOTON and DP World have focused on deepening their collaboration to build a global logistics network, working together on practical initiatives across multiple markets. One notable achievement is their progress in vehicle procurement, with DP World having already purchased 400 FOTON heavy-duty trucks for the Nigerian market to support efficient port cargo operations. In terms of after-sales service, they’ve adopted a co-construction and shared model to develop a parts supply system that covers key areas. Leveraging their respective global networks, they’ve also created an efficient collaboration framework for international logistics resource integration. This has successfully ensured the transportation needs for several international projects and created conditions for collaborative development in emerging markets, significantly advancing and upgrading both companies’ global strategies.

A Powerful Partnership Driving Industry Transformation

Li Shaoan, VP of Foton International, said: “DP World is a benchmark in the global logistics industry, and its efficient port operations and supply chain services align perfectly with FOTON’s global strategy. This strategic partnership will accelerate the penetration of our new energy products in overseas markets, offering global customers greener and smarter logistics solutions.”

Beat Simon, Group COO, Logistics at DP World, said: “DP World is proud to be a strategic partner to FOTON as they expand into key emerging markets. By leveraging our global network of ports, terminals and logistics capabilities, we’re helping deliver smarter, more efficient trade. FOTON is one of several valued partners enabling us to deploy the right assets in the right places, driving innovation and reliability across global supply chains.”

The signing of this strategic agreement will further integrate FOTON’s green commercial vehicle technology with DP World’s global logistics network, injecting new momentum into emerging markets and accelerating the low-carbon and intelligent upgrades of global supply chains.
